Bio

Nate Sage is a producer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist from Richmond, Virginia. Nate plays piano for, and is the assistant producer for Very Good Band, and has produced music of his own. Nate found his love for music at a very young age, and has continued to grow and develop as an artist ever since.

Artist Statement

“As a musician, I have learned that it isn’t easy to make a song sound good, regardless of who makes it. There are multiple layers to the process, and several techniques involved. In regards to this process, I wish to gain as much of a thorough understanding of it as possible, whether I am the one behind the keyboard, or behind the mixboard.

The music industry in itself is large and complex, and carries an abundance of different responsibilities for each role in the music making process. I believe that every role is crucial, with none being as important as the artists and producers. If an artist makes a song, there would be a significantly large difference between that same song depending on the quality of the producer and their experience. My goal as a producer is to eliminate those flaws, and make someone else’s, or my own dream of making professional grade music come true.”
